To make pizza khichu, heat ¾ cup of water in a deep non-stick pan, add the soda bi-carb, cumin seeds, mixed herbs, green chillies, salt and oil, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute. Add the rice flour, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring continuously with help of a rolling pin. Add the pizza sauce, coloured capsicum, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring continuously. Cool slightly, divide the mixture into 15 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball making a depression in the center. Top each ball with a little cheese, little mixed herbs and finally drizzle olive oil evenly over it. Serve immediately.
Khichu is a traditional Gujarati snack, made by cooking flour with spices. It has a gooey, dough-like texture, which is very, very delicious when served hot and fresh. For Pizza Khichu
2 tbsp Pizza sauce
a pinch of baking soda

1 tsp dried mixed herbs
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste

1/2 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
For The Topping
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
olive oil for drizzling
dried mixed herbs for sprinkling
Method

very different recipe. Had to bake at 350 degree Fahrenheit (175 C) for about 5 to 7 min. It melts cheese nicely.

I always look upto this website for latest recipes with a twist. Such a superb combination of Pizza and khichu. My kids loved it and did not even realize that they were eating Khichu. Lovely !!
